Tasting Notes
Fresh, lively and aromatic, this wine faithfully represents the spirit of the old Garnacha bush vines of the Las Moradas terroir. Picota-cherry colour. Highly expressive varietal Garnacha with floral aromas, plum, scrubland and a flinty mineral background, characteristic of the granitic soil. It has a long finish and a great permanence on the palate.

Terroir and Viticulture
Organic viticulture. Mountain terroir provides the essence of Las Moradas: old goblet trained vineyards on dry, granitic, stony soils, which produce a grape of excellent quality. Impeccable acidity coupled with good and gradual ripening, create a grape of  great balance and a wine with character that ages elegantly over time.

Vinification
Hand-harvested in small crates with posterior selection at the table. Grapes are destemmed and later placed in wooden vats for fermentation by ambient yeasts with occasional and gentle pumping over. The ageing process is carried out during ten months in 500 litre French oak barrels of different uses, depending on each plot. Assembled in the tanks until bottling, without clarification or filtering.

Food pairing
Slow-cooled lamb, suckling pig, BBQ and grilled meats, porcini mushrooms, Jerusalem artichokes, hard cheeses, olives, jamón de pata negra.
